Yosemite Valley
Camping at Yosemite
We made a blazin' campfire, which turned out to be timely because I miscalculated and it got dark before I had finished making dinner. Fajitas in the dark tasted sooo good, though, and I'm sure the bears were licking their chops.
The bear problem is so bad in Yosemite that you have to unload 100% of all food & scented items from your car, or else bears can rip the doors off the car. Can you imagine finding all the nooks and crannies of food (and gum, mints, shampoo, bug stuff, etc.) in the van???
Anyway, all the stuff goes into a bear-proof bearbox. Worked for us!
Brian and Eli roast 'mallows.
The lad never frowns!
