Camping at Yosemite

We made a blazin' campfire, which turned out to be timely because I miscalculated and it got dark before I had finished making dinner. Fajitas in the dark tasted sooo good, though, and I'm sure the bears were licking their chops.

The bear problem is so bad in Yosemite that you have to unload 100% of all food & scented items from your car, or else bears can rip the doors off the car. Can you imagine finding all the nooks and crannies of food (and gum, mints, shampoo, bug stuff, etc.) in the van???

Anyway, all the stuff goes into a bear-proof bearbox. Worked for us!

Brian and Eli roast 'mallows.

The lad never frowns!

Heading to Yosemite

With Brian in tow, we headed off to Yosemite.

First stop, Central Valley Supermarket:

Learning guitar made passing the tiume much easier. Eli and Michela both wrote songs

We stopped at the Hershey's Chocolate factory and resupplied. We even picked up another Popper.
